Bedford Encounters Zones of Anomalous Uranium at Sheppard Lake Uranium Project

(TSX-V: BFM, FWB: 08D, ISIN: CA0762301012) (the "Company" or "Bedford") is pleased to announce the results of its 2026 diamond drill program, completed in May 2026, at its wholly-owned Sheppard Lake Uranium Project, located on the southern margin of Saskatchewan's prolific Athabasca Basin. Highlights include:
SHP-26-05: Up to 1,447 CPS, 0.133% U3O8 (1190ppm U total digestion)
SHP-26-06 Up to 400 CPS, 0.049% U3O8 (419ppm U total digestion)
The spring 2026 DDH program consisted of 1,135.71m of diamond drilling. In total, 218 samples were collected, including 104 drill core and 114 composite samples, and were delivered to the SRC Geoanalytical Laboratory in Saskatoon where they were analysed for multi-element, U3O8, and boron assay analyses. Drill holes SHP-26-03 and SHP-26-04 targeted the TZ-2 conductive anomaly, SHP-26-05 and SHP-26-06 targeted the TZ-1 conductive anomaly.
SHP-26-05 returned an interval of 0.133% U3O8 over 0.6m from 21.4-22m (1190 ppm U total digestion), with an adjacent interval of 0.04% U3O8 from 20.9-21.4m. Scintillometer readings taken within the same interval in SHP-26-05 returned values of up to 1447 CPS, in a pegmatite. Spectrometer readings returned values of up to 121.1ppm U and 48.1ppm Th.

SHP-26-06 hosts broad mineralization with a near continuous run from 19.5 to 48m, with multiple 0.5 to 1.5m intervals between 0.014% and 0.049% U3O8, with the best being 0.049% U3O8 from 36-37m (419ppm U total digestion). This same interval is present in the composite samples from 20-30m depth, averaging 0.02% U3O8 (190ppm U total digestion).

Both SHP-26-05 and SHP-26-06 intersected mineralized intervals at roughly the same depth in each hole, indicating a laterally continuous, shallow mineralized horizon.

Elevated U3O8 values, strong CPS readings, and proximity to key structural features near the Athabasca Basin boundary all point to a highly prospective system. All samples from exploration programs are shipped to the Saskatchewan Research Council Geoanalytical Laboratories (SRC) in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in secure containment for preparation, processing, and multi-element analysis by ICP-MS and ICP-OES using total (HF:NHO3:HClO4) and partial digestion (HNO3:HCl), boron by fusion, and U3O8 wt% assay by ICP-OES using higher grade standards. The SRC is an ISO/IEC 17025/2005 and Standards Council of Canada certified analytical laboratory. The SRC is independent of the Company. Blanks, standard reference materials, and repeats are inserted into the sample stream at regular intervals by the SRC in accordance with Bedford's quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) procedures.
